Our founder, Charles X. Liao, PhD, has over 25 years of experience in the intraocular lens industry and is well known for his expertise in designing novel materials. He has developed 9 intraocular lenses currently being sold in the market. He holds more than 25 patents and has numerous publications. In 2004, he founded Lilly Ming International Inc. in Irvine, California, USA. Subsequently, in 2010, he founded Wuxi Vision Pro Ltd, a company which specializes in developing and manufacturing Intraocular lenses.
Lilly Ming International, Inc. develops and manufactures hydrophobic acrylic materials for intraocular lenses (IOLs) as well other ophthalmic related products. These products are currently sold in the USA, Europe and Southeast Asia. The IOLs made from our materials have been implanted in more than 4 million eyes worldwide over the past 10 years. Our innovative materials have excellent bio compatibilities and are clinically proven to have no glistening.
